A basketball court. Eight voices. One team. HUNTER sets choir and play in motion until rules tilt and the match turns into a hunt for the heart. A group of eight players stands on a basketball court. The referee whistles. The game begins. Something bounces. A ball, or a beat. Are we watching a match, or are we stepping into a hunt for something that doesn’t immediately let itself be grasped? In HUNTER , Liesa Van der Aa brings the Berlin vocal ensemble B O D I E S and soprano Naomi Beeldens together on the field. Not as a metaphor, but as architecture. The field is the score. Movement follows rules, roles are assigned, patterns return. What emerges is a system of tuning, pressure, and reaction.
