Tunisia, 113 minutes
Lilia returns to Tunisia with her friend for her uncle's funeral, but there is quite a bit of mystery surrounding his death. The script slowly reveals its secrets. In a clear way, the film shows how sexual orientation remains a difficult issue in the Arab world. As a viewer, you empathize with Lilia's struggle to no longer have to play a comedy, but at the same time you experience how secretive this is handled. A sincere plea for more acceptance of the queer community.
