Soirée Salsa - Cuban Workshops and free party

Once again this year, La Tricoterie is teaming up with Camina Dance School and its amazing team of salsa instructors for two wild nights! Since its founding in 2016, Camina Dance School has played a major role in Belgium’s social dance scene, thanks to its consistent programming, the quality of its instruction, and the passion of its members. Based in Brussels and Antwerp, the school offers Cuban and Afro-Cuban dance classes for adults, led by a warm and experienced team inspired by the great Cuban masters. Camina stands out for its human-centered approach, prioritizing connection, joy, and shared movement over performance. More than just a school, it is a vibrant community where dance builds bridges between cultures and people. Rooted in art and inclusion, Camina aims to make Cuban culture accessible while fostering a sense of belonging and shared joy. Both events will follow the same schedule: – 8:00 PM: A dance introduction for beginners (€10) – 9:00 PM: A workshop for more experienced dancers (€10) – 10:00 PM–2:00 AM: A salsa party (free) The dance styles, artists, and detailed program will vary by date and will be announced as each event approaches!
