Originaire du Mexique, Ana Vaga is an artist currently based in Brussels. The music of Ana Vaga is the fruit of several years of writing and singing in my mother tongue, Spanish. After a long and varied journey as an artist, she presents today an intimate, organic and raw program: songs accompanied by one or two guitars. The repertoire includes original songs, rooted in the tradition of the Latin American singer-songwriter. For this new project, she is accompanied by Luca Isolani, a guitarist with whom she has been collaborating for several years and who shares the stage by her side. About Ana Vaga Auteure, composer and performer, Ana Vaga carries in her voice the vibrant soul of Latin America. Nourished since childhood by the echoes of boleros, ranchera songs and by poetry in the Spanish language, she draws her inspiration from the tradition and emotion of her native Mexico. Guitar in hand, she opens paths through lands where volcanoes sleep and where the wind still whispers ancestral secrets. Her voice draws a universe where the unleashed elements — fire, wind, rebellious water — collide with the fragility of the human soul.
