Do you know that feeling? Letting go of something, letting it clatter and splash open so that something new is created. A drop of paint that falls on the ground and becomes a galaxy. A tower that collapses and suddenly creates a landscape. A body that stumbles until it dances. With the MUS-E artists, we create a playground where “oops” is welcome. We build obstacles and strange routes, over winding paths, swinging words, and hesitant steps. We slow down a fall until you can hear it, draw a collision, and take something apart until the loose pieces start to sing. And then: get up! Not just standing up, but also gathering and letting things clump together. Paint that mixes, shapes that touch each other until a new image is created. At the end, we make a party for everything that was allowed to fall apart, and everything that came back together afterward. Because actually, getting up is just daring to start over. And maybe falling is sometimes simply the fastest way to an adventure.
