Adventure to the top of the Heusden-Zolder slag heap

The mine spoil tip of Heusden-Zolder rises 80 meters above the surrounding area. From the top, you have a beautiful view of the vast forests of Koersel and the open heath of the military domain Kamp Beverlo. Make sure to wear sturdy walking shoes because the climb is what one calls a real 'calf-biter'.
