Uitwijken Theater Dudzele

Voor Uitwijken and the second edition of the Reiefestival, Collectief 33, Brugge Plus and De Spil in Roeselare join forces for a brand-new theater performance, specially created for this special context. Het Genootschap van Verloren Dingen is a poetic and slightly absurd theater experience that takes the audience on an expedition along everything we lose along the way – visible and invisible. The expedition premieres on Friday, August 28 in Zeebrugge. Then on Saturday, August 29 at the lawn at the Stokerij in Dudzele. After that, the performance will play on Sunday, August 30 in Assebroek and on September 4 in Sint-Andries. The performance will culminate during the Reiefestival on September 5, when performing arts on and around the water bring the Bruges canals to life. Everyone welcome! 19:30 - theater performance Het Genootschap van Verloren Dingen Twee figures sit together in search club Het Genootschap van Verloren Dingen. They have been scouring the world for years in search of everything that has ever gone missing: not just keys or socks, but also forgotten memories, old sounds, facial expressions that no one makes anymore, the feeling of the past, … The audience is invited on an expedition, but soon discovers that the searchers themselves might be more lost than what they are looking for … The performance is free and suitable for children from 9 years old. COLLECTIEF 33: Collectief 33 consists of Veerle Holsteyns and Angelo Vercamp. Angelo studied directing at the Toneelacademie Maastricht and Veerle drama at LUCA School of Arts. They make performances for various companies, podcasts and interventions at festivals.
