Organ performance 'FLY ME TO THE SUN', with singing and dancing

On Saturday afternoon, September 12, the Friends of the Zwalm Villages VZW are once again putting the Zwalm organ heritage in the spotlight with a DEBATE, an ORGAN PERFORMANCE with song and dance, and a EUCHARISTIC CELEBRATION with live organ accompaniment.\n\nORGAN PERFORMANCE 'FLY ME TO THE SUN" on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM\n\nThis is a performance for young and old, in which the unique Petrus Haelvoet organ is central.\n\nImmerse yourself in the enchanting sounds of the Haelvoet organ, the swirling ecstasy of dervish dancing, and the tunes of centuries-old and new hits. All of this around a compelling story about the Italian anarchist Francesco, the later Franciscus van Assisi, medieval hippies, a noble lady, a sun canticle, and much more. Storytelling with plenty of sound and image where the organ playing takes center stage, about spirituality and true friendship.
