Sing-along Evening Kadullen

For the 14th time, this event is taking place. Its foundation is nostalgia: who didn't go to camp once, and enjoy singing songs there. The campfire at the end of such a camp was then the highlight. Well, quite a few songs that were sung back then are being brought out from under the dust during this singing evening. The initiators call themselves the 'Kampvuurkadulllen', a group of passionate lovers of singing together: Marc Maeyens, Gothard De Coninck, William Daelemans, Greta Boels, Rik Vandenberghe and Jan Wauters. Their partners are also always present to help! De Kadullen are not at their first attempt: since 2012, they have been organizing a singing evening around the campfire on the first Saturday of August. This event always took place in the Maeyensbos in Adegem, but in recent years it has moved to the shelter next to CC Den Hoogen Pad in Adegem and that turned out to be a great success. Admission is free. Drinks and hot dogs are available on site at democratic prices. Singing is done from a songbook and conductor Jan Wauters guides the sing-along in the right direction, accompanied by a number of rock-solid musicians on piano, accordion, guitar! Highly recommended!
