Thomas Fersen presents his new show, "Comme on quitte un imperméable", an adaptation of his novel to be published in May 2026. In co-production Zouave/ La Scala, this show directed by Samuel Achache will be performed this summer in Avignon, before taking the roads of France and Belgium until 2028. Enamelled with new songs or from his repertoire, and performed by Thomas Fersen accompanied by three musicians, "Comme on quitte un imperméable" tells in octosyllables how, after discouraging beginnings in music and the loss of his part-time job as a cable installer, the hero is shipped to Mexico by his father. Tender and funny, Thomas Fersen lends memories of youth to his apprentice globe-trotter. With fantasy, he evokes the exoticism and lushness, the devotion and religiosity of the lands traversed, offering us an allegorical vision of his adventures. Initiatory journey, epic as spicy as it is rocambolesque, the dangers to which the hero exposes himself are as many rituals of passage to adulthood.
