Not an exhibition. Not a theater. But a surprising encounter between music, visual arts, performance, and experiment. Together with curator Luk Sponselee, we welcome a special group of artists and makers who each stimulate the imagination in their own way. 🎸 Niels Duffhues brings dark, bewitching songs that balance between folk, blues, and rock. A modern troubadour who tells stories about the world of today, with an idiosyncratic view and a raw musical power. ⚙️ Ad van Aart builds wonderful mechanical instruments and sound objects from everyday materials. His fascinating creations seem to come straight from a fantasy world and produce sounds that are as surprising as their appearance. 🖨️ Hannah de Groot brings a writing performance in which language, time, and presence come together. With her typewriter, she creates a poetic experience that unfolds before your eyes and makes you look at words and stories differently. 📷 Martin Cognito shows a selection of his atmospheric monochrome photography in large format. Images that invite you to pause and look longer. 🎶 Bart Sloow dives into his inimitable vinyl collection and serves up unknown musical pearls that perfectly match the atmosphere of the evening.
