Plant wealth in the Oude Spoorwegberm Waregem

The old railway embankment in the middle of the Gaverbeekse meersen (marshes) is an oasis of peace and botanically very interesting. After all, we find moisture-loving plants in the wet marshes and drought-loving ones along the railway. The walk runs between the railway verge, meadows, and fields, where we enjoy the autumn colors and the plants still blooming in October.
