Daan: Crooner

For 30 years, Daan has been surprising with a whirlwind of genres. Anyone looking for the common thread will be able to discover in this concert that all those songs have something in common: the often melancholic yet humorous lyrics full of visual metaphors. Behind the grand piano or guitar, Daan seizes the opportunity to get closer to the audience, and he takes the time to share the stories behind his colorful life path and lyrics. He is assisted by Isolde Lasoen, Daan's permanent musical muse for 25 years, and the virtuoso Jean-François Assy, known as a musician for, among others, Alain Bashung and Yann Thiersen. Every evening something slightly different happens, because Daan likes to interpret his favorite covers in an original way alongside his own repertoire.
