Summer on stilts: Play that Song

‘Play that Song’ is coming to Kortenberg! This year, Kortenberg is making room for a one-time and special musical event. The popular music program Play that Song is landing at GC Colomba for an evening full of live music, atmosphere, and entertainment. During the summer months, television recordings are made at various locations in Flanders, and Kortenberg is allowed to kick off the new season as the first guest location this year. As an audience, you can attend this unique recording completely free of charge. From 5:30 PM , a DJ will provide the ideal warm-up for the evening. At 6:30 PM , the recordings of Play that Song Live will start with a varied line-up of established names and emerging talent: The Color Collective – energetic live band with a colorful mix of pop and feel-good music. Whyzer & Elsie Morais – a striking collaboration between young talent and an experienced voice from the Flemish music scene. K.I.A. – legendary hip-hop group from Aarschot that gained great fame in the 90s with the hit Zaterdag and is celebrating the 30th anniversary of that classic this year. Effe Serieus – exuberant Dutch party act that guarantees a solid portion of ambiance with their hit Baila de Gasolina and a show full of interaction, humor, and sing-alongs. Yannick Bovy – internationally appreciated crooner known for his stylish interpretations of swing and pop classics. Mathias Mesmans – young musical talent from Kortenberg that is increasingly seen on Flemish stages. Garry Hagger – one of the best-known Flemish schlager artists, with numerous hits and a long career under their belt. At 8:30 PM , the Play that Song Showcase follows, with the group Top Guns as the central guest, known for their strong live reputation and recognizable pop-rock sound. From 9:00 PM , a DJ will take over for a festive conclusion until 10:00 PM . The presentation is in the hands of Maksim Stojanac, Katja Retsin, and Sverre Denis, who will ensure the necessary atmosphere on and off the stage. Food and drinks are of course provided, so that no one has to suffer from hunger or thirst.
