Yellow Letters

Aziz, a theatre director and professor at Ankara University, receives the ‘yellow letter’ informing him of his dismissal. When his wife Derya, a renowned actress, receives the same letter, it is the final blow for the couple. Their dismissal is the result of their political views, which brought them to the government’s attention. They move to Istanbul with their daughter to live with Aziz’s mother.
