In this CultuurMicrOOb project, playing music together and classical music are central. During an ‘interactive’ concert with 12 musicians from the Frascati Symphonic led by conductor Kris Stroobants, the children sing and move to the rhythm of the music. ‘Experiencing’ a classical concert in this way becomes very special! Participation in the concert requires good preparation. The project therefore starts with a preparatory workshop, led by music pedagogue Sterre de Raedt. Teachers who have already worked on this project in previous school years can choose to practice the pieces themselves in class using Sterre's videos, without following the workshop with the class. Practical: the workshop with the class lasts 1h40 and we organize this in one of our cultural buildings in the vicinity of each school or at the school itself. the concert in den Ichter lasts about 1 hour. Date: The workshops will take place in the period from January 25 to March 17, 2027. On Thursday, March 18, 2027, we will conclude the project with an interactive [concert] for all students who signed up for the project.
