Excursion: Charlottes Pompoenkwekerij and Hulst

Uitstap: Charlottes Pompoenkwekerij en Hulst We close the summer in style with a trip to the Netherlands, more specifically: IJzendijke! Here we will visit a genuine pumpkin farm. Charlotte’s Pumpkin Nursery has more than 100 types of pumpkins that we will get to see during our tour. Tasting is, of course, also part of it! This will be followed by an extensive lunch buffet at a unique location. Hopefully, the sun will also be present, because in the afternoon we will visit Hulst. A fortified city in the Dutch province of Zeeland. Hulst is also seen as the "most Flemish city" of the Netherlands. Especially the Burgundian lifestyle attracts many Flemish people here. A cozy town where there is a lot to see. Everyone can explore at their own pace. We will gather back at the bus at 5 PM. Tired but satisfied, we will arrive in Poperinge around 7 PM.
