Blue Heron

The late 1990s. A family of six from Een Hongaars-Canada settles into their new home on Vancouver Island. From the perspective of the youngest daughter, Sasha, events range from comfortable everyday things—beach days and family trips to the park, summer afternoons full of fun with trampolines and garden hoses—to events that take on a dark tint as the scale of one of the family member's problems becomes clear. Specifically, the behavior of the family's oldest child, Jeremy, becomes increasingly dangerous.
