Film & Facts: Eat More Trees

Every year, we lose 24 billion tons of fertile soil worldwide. That is thirty football fields per minute. If we continue to farm as we do today, we are literally pulling the ground out from under our food system. Eat More Trees, narrated by actress Maaike Cafmeyer, shows how it can be done differently. Together with food forest expert and regenerative pioneer Louis De Jaeger, we travel from the Amazon rainforest to European fields. We see how trees and perennial crops make agriculture more resilient against drought and heat, while simultaneously restoring soils, strengthening ecosystems, and producing healthier and more nutritious food.
