That Dat Isabelle is a fixture in the Flemish music landscape, we have known for a long time. But that her heart beats in two languages was only truly discovered by the general public in 2024 when she performed to sold-out halls with Isabelle A la Française.
This tour was a logical next step after her impressive appearance in Liefde voor Muziek. Her performance of Dormir en Cuillère, a French translation of Lepeltjesgewijs van Bart Peeters, struck a chord with TV-loving Flanders.
That love later had a sequel on the radio, where Isabelle brought French gems weekly on the morning program Sven & Anke on Joe. Her renditions of, among others, Le vent Nous Portera and a French version of Onderweg van Abel made a deep impression.
Now there is a sequel. A new series of concerts, a new musical chapter. But always with the same passion and love for the French song. Well-known classics, surprising covers, and a sparkling presence make this an experience you don't want to miss.
Une Belle Histoire?
Absolutely. And the story continues.
