Visually rich music theater that makes the sun shine even on the rainiest day! Raps is a musician. And a tinkerer. He hammers out songs. And builds melodies. When he plays a new tune, the sun, the moon, and the stars come up. But… never before has a little boy emerged from his music! In ‘Rapsodie’, Raps conjures up a whole world with a colorful collection of instruments, sounds, and surprises. With an ingenious set, playful music, and a good dose of imagination, he takes young and old on an adventure. More than 15 years after his debut, Maarten Van Aerschot is again making a performance for preschoolers. Together with, among others, Robbe Mols and Evelyne Meersschaut, he is building a thorough craft project with puppets and an ingenious set. Muzikant Toon Van Mierlo kicks off what you get to see and hear with his extensive instrumentation. ‘Rapsodie’ is a visually rich performance about how you can play a whole world together, even when it is raining outside.
