Tom, Lien & Pablo - "15 years" EP release

Tom, Lien & Pablo are friends who, fifteen years ago in 2011, united their talents out of a love for intimate acoustic interplay and melodic songs from different times and directions: the warm voice of Lien (known to you as Lady Linn), the Brazilian-classical guitar playing of Pablo, and the woodwind instruments of Tom. This trio played under the radar for fifteen years, alongside other official musical projects. Their fond memories of Arscene (2013) now bring them back. On the occasion of their crystal anniversary, they are releasing an EP for the first time with eight eclectic covers: from the country song ‘Polly Come Home’ by Gene Clark from 1969, via the Brazilian ‘As Cores De Abril’ by Toquinho & Vinicius and ‘Celestial Blues’ by Andy Bey, both from 1974, to ‘The Big Tree’ from 2012 by the French-Jamaican soundsystem Stand High Patrol. The songs were completely reimagined with rich arrangements or stripped down entirely to their minimalist essence. The record was created while puzzling between other projects over a period of five years and is being released on CD and digital platforms, followed by a possible release on vinyl via a pre-order crowdfunding campaign.
