The Book Club: The Dream or A Tree (Maja Luna)

The Dream or A Tree is a story set in the year 2110, in a future where the earth has been heavily affected by climate change and many species have gone extinct. Op Spitsbergen, in the harsh north, guards the young Tommy together with his grandmother (the "seed keeper") and his brothers the last seed vault in the world. Their small community lives in isolation, in harmony with the harsh nature. The Book Club wants to bring together people from different cultures and with a love for stories and books. It is a book club where we encourage young philosophers and curious minds to exchange thoughts and opinions on the perception around minority groups. You don't need to have read the (whole) book to participate.
