What started out as mixtapes for friends has grown into one of the most influential projects in contemporary Latin American music. In May this year, their most recent and highly original new album Ruido Tovar was released.Camilo Lara is a true cultural polymath: he has received multiple Grammy nominations, composed music for the films Coco and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and collaborated with artists such as Beck, Damon Albarn, David Byrne, and Manu Chao. Lara is also a regular guest on the world’s biggest stages—from Coachella to Vive Latino, where he performed for over 80,000 people.Live, Mexican Institute of Sound is a wholly unique experience.
