Day trip French Flanders

In Noordpeene we will visit, after a cup of coffee with a croissant, the Museum of the Slag van Kassel of Slag at the Peene, delivered in 1677 between troops of Louis XIV and troops of the Republiek der Verenigde Nederlanden. The battle, which had far-reaching consequences for Flanders and Hainaut, is brought to life by means of a scale model and a film. For lunch we are expected 7 km further on in Restaurant Le Sauvage in Kassel (the menu will be communicated later). Afterwards we will have a guided city walk of about 3 km. We will finish on a terrace on the Grote Markt. Departure at the Sint-Annazwembad in Maldegem at 8 a.m., back in Maldegem around 7 p.m. Register by September 3, 2026 at the latest by payment of 75 euros to account no.
