Strong(er) in your voice: Public debate workshop (NL, FR)

Info in Dutch > Info in French > NL Sharing your opinion is difficult. Disagreeing is even more difficult. Would you like to have better conversations? Make your voice heard? Listen more actively? Then this two-part public debate workshop is for you. In the first session (MON 01.06) we will discuss various questions. What is public debate? Do you feel that you are allowed/able to participate in it? What obstacles do you encounter? What role do you play in public debate? We will conclude the session with ideas on how you can improve public debate yourself. In the second session (MON 15.06) we will practice with current themes. During this session, we will learn how to speak with each other and conduct a fair debate. Listening is more important than speaking. Simon Truwant, author of the book ‘De Waarheid heeft 4 gezichten’, will facilitate the workshop. Praktisch Taal: the guidance will be in Dutch and Frans Prijs: the workshop is free, including a meal.
