Natuurpunt Gent Haven is organizing... guided nature walk Desteldonk Noord - Saturday 27/6/26 - 9 AM [free - registration mandatory] Guided nature walk at a unique location: the coupling area Desteldonk-Noord. Desteldonk-Noord is the transition area between the northern seaport-supporting business park Moervaart-Zuid and the residential core of Desteldonk. A winding cycling and walking route runs through the forest buffer, partly along the marsh zone and partly on the forest ridge. The connection to the village center runs via a footpath along the small school and the residential-work connection Koemeersweg. Geert Spanoghe and Wilfried van Vaerenbergh, both from the working group Natuurpunt Gent Haven and specialists of the region, will take you in tow. We meet at the church of Desteldonk, at 9 AM. We will explore until about 12 PM - 12:30 PM.
