Korpus Quartet with the performance WALD

A first in Ghent: Korpus Kwartet brings the performance WALD in the Borluutpark. Few instruments are so intertwined with the forest in their origin as the horn. That is why four young Belgian horn players from the Korpus Kwartet are bringing the instrument back to its roots in this performance. Do not expect traditional hunting music, but a completely new approach. Together with composer Siebe Thijs, they set to work to integrate insights from the bestseller ‘The Hidden Life of Trees’ by forester Peter Wohlleben into a brand-new piece of music: ‘WALD’.
