By now you know what to expect: every third Thursday of the month we put upcoming bands and artists in the spotlight at JC Bouckenborgh. WILSON WOODS (9:30 pm) Wilson Woods is an upcoming talent from Antwerp. He brings a quirky mix between indie pop and indie rock - raw at the edges but melodic at the core. With his unique voice, melancholic lyrics, and energetic riffs, he provides an immersive live experience. Accompanied by his band, he brings songs from his upcoming EP: ‘Pigeons of Utopia’. A quest for beauty in the bitter where he fuses vulnerability and energy into a captivating whole. ARRUBIO (8:30 pm) Arrubio is a Moroccan songwriter, producer, and indie artist from Antwerp who brings indie rock and soul together into warm, groove-driven alternative R&B with retro synths. Together with his live band, Arrubio brings an energetic and sincere live experience, with funky grooves and warm melodies.
