JUNEBUG Twin Peaks meets Astro‑TV, but gay. June leads an invisible existence in a log cabin in the deep south of the US. Surrounded by the woods, she spends her days in front of the TV, until the signal starts to glitch. Chased by the image noise, we flash through an American dreamscape of TV mediums, takeout burritos, misty motel rooms, and ghosts from the past. Junebug drags you into a hallucinatory sound world in which reality and imagination flow seamlessly into each other. Anna mixes theater, cinema, podcast, and a touch of Efteling into a completely immersive experience. In this film, the screen just looks back. HALLO BARDOT Brigitte Bardot. With two B's, everyone immediately knows who she is: movie star, style icon, sex symbol. But who is hiding behind the name and the image? And what if that image doesn't hold up? In Hallo Bardot is interviewed as BB. Or is it a version of BB that we invented ourselves? A theater performance with genuine Haaibaai eagerness. The mission of Haaibaai is to make names and titles that ring a bell for many people accessible. In their work, idiosyncratic women are central. In Halte 1000 they gave the characters of A Streetcar Named Desire a light-hearted, self-aware twist last season.
