RU!S is a Flemish feature film in which Marie-Hélène (Naëlle Belhadi/Helena De Graeve) - a very shy girl - dreams of only one thing. Becoming a professional dancer! Paps (Kurt Velghe) is her great support and refuge. Mams (Tiny Sneyders) is a formidable lawyer - moral advocate and has her own reasons for going directly against her daughter's wishes. Paps turns out to have multiple sclerosis (MS) which, unfortunately, as with millions of people worldwide, is diagnosed too late. Because of the mother's past and the father's illness, Marie-Hélène's life also takes a very unexpected turn. The film is based on true events.
