Concert Trio Memento is a group consisting of three musicians from different parts of the world, who have quickly made a name for themselves with their interpretation of the great repertoire for piano trios. Following the classical tradition while simultaneously exploring new trends in contemporary music, this ensemble offers an eclectic choice of repertoire. Trio Memento is an ensemble founded in Brussels in 2017 by three former students with a passion for chamber music, all of whom graduated from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. The ensemble, which graduated from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel with the highest distinction (Summa cum laude) under the guidance of Eric Robberecht, is committed heart and soul to chamber music at a high professional level. Since its inception, the trio has already performed repeatedly in Belgium and France: Klarafestival at Flagey, the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, the Huis van Culturen and Sociale Samenhang in Sint-Jans-Molenbeek, Maison des Musiques as part of the Pas Si Classique cycle, ULB, BOZAR in the “Next Generation” series, ... Het Trio Memento is an ensemble in residence at Chamber Music for Europe. In addition, the group has further developed its expertise through intensive collaborations with renowned soloists, experienced chamber musicians from internationally famous quartets and trios, and leading professors from various European conservatories.
