New Year's concert IVAN & FABULOUS FRIENDS - QUINTARA

After collaborations with various renowned artists, Ivan Smeulders presents his own musical universe ‘Quintara’. His instrumental compositions come to life in the company of a top cast of musician friends, each with their own distinct style and musical background. Together they create a rich, layered sound palette that continues to surprise and move. In playful and intense musical dialogues, the musicians challenge each other and effortlessly take the audience along on a musical journey. As musical director at Bart Peeters & the Ideale Mannen, and previously at Kapitein Winokio, Ivan has left his mark on numerous successful productions in recent years. His music cannot be summarized in one word. Expect an evening full of virtuosity, quirky compositions and surprising arrangements, in which world music, repetitive music, classical and jazz merge in a sparkling way.
