Merode Festival - The Weaving

“Tussen County Kerry and Yorkshire” The young, talented trio “The Weaving” proves that Irish and English folk is still very much alive. Méabh Begley (accordion, vocals), Owen Spafford (violin), and Cait Ni Riain (piano, vocals) bring music with roots in Kerry, Tipperary, and Yorkshire. They play dance melodies and songs that they approach from their own background, with room for interplay and polyphony.
