Picking basket in the Bakkerijmuseum

From Thursday, August 20, the picking month starts in the Bakkerijmuseum! Would you like to know more about our pomological heritage and the growing and processing of various fruit varieties? On the opening day of our picking month, you can freely follow an educational orchard walk from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, given by an expert from Pomko! Taste, learn, and enjoy the various indigenous fruit varieties on our estate! Registration for the orchard walk is recommended. Drop by until September 30 during the museum's opening hours and freely pick delicious pears in the museum's historic orchard. How does it work? Reservations are not necessary if you only want to pick! Upon arrival, please first report to the reception desk. There you will receive all practical information about picking and you will also receive a free booklet with delicious pear recipes. We provide the necessary picking equipment. Just bring your own bag or basket to collect your pears in. To allow as many visitors as possible to enjoy the harvest, we ask you to take a maximum of 3 kg per family. Pear picking is possible while supplies last and exclusively at the designated fruit trees. Come along, enjoy the orchard, and take a piece of the harvest home with you!
