Merode Festival: Double concert - Lia Sampai (ES) / Noemie Palomo & Pascal Chardome (ES/B)

An evening of top Catalan singing and Galician singing, softly accompanied. Sampai lets Catalan folk, jazz, and world music merge into pure poetry. Her warm, emotional singing, steeped in stories from the Terres de l'Ebre, touches deep in the heart. The former Ialma singer Noemie Palomo and guitarist Pascal Chardome have worked together regularly in the past, but at the end of 2024 their duo CD “Nai” was released, a beautiful collection of finely interpreted, intimist songs, which do full honor to the credo “less is more”.
