The CINE-CLUB KINOLATINO is pleased to invite you to an evening of short film screenings, outside the 2026 festival selection. A beautiful harvest this year allowed us to select some pearls out of competition. We offer you a program with five short films, 91 minutes of cinematographic happiness. The films are in VO and subtitled in English and French. An evening organized in partnership with the Centre Culturel Jacques Franck, the Dutch-speaking Affairs Service of the Commune de Saint-Gilles, the Pianofabriek, the Association Joseph Jacquemotte, Equal.brussels. +++ Casa Chica - Lau Charles - Mexico - fiction - 25' While their mother unpacks the moving boxes, Valentina (5 years old) and Quique (11 years old) have a blast in the apartment. Their parents have separated. When their father comes to pick them up to show them his new life, the children have a painful glimpse of the adult world. O Rio de Janeiro Continua Lindo - Felipe CASANOVA - Belgium/Switzerland/Brazil - hybrid - 25' During the Rio carnival, a mother writes to her son, feeling his presence among the revelers. The festivities become a moment frozen in time, mixing memories and political struggle. Lanawaru - Angello Faccini - Mexico/USA - documentary - 16' While facing a strange being that lives inside her, a woman seeks to reconcile with her sister following an incident that occurred during their adolescence. By exploring shared experiences through their bodies, she manages to face the nature of what inhabits her. Ovejas y Lobos - Alex Fischman Cárdenas - Peru/US/Chile - Fiction - 17' A mother's world shatters after her son disappears, while the Peruvian armed conflict is at its height. We follow this mother in her search full of uncertainties, through vast dangerous and unforgiving landscapes, which reflect an apparently insurmountable mission. ¡Salsa! - Antonina Kerguelen - Colombia - Fiction - 14' Margarita seeks to emancipate herself in a place where those who deviate from the norm are judged, when her path crosses that of Liana, a deaf tourist, to the rhythm of congas and bongos.
