Bicycle theater performance at 4 special locations From an early page of our history to stories of administration, war, and labor: this performance takes you on a surprising journey past four scenes from the Ichtegem of the past. You will discover how Ichtegem first appears in historical sources, get to know a mayor who left his mark on the municipality, follow the fortunes of the so-called beet men who went to work in France, and experience a poignant story from the aftermath of the Eerste Wereldoorlog. Historical figures and ordinary residents stand side by side. Together they tell how major events and small human stories have helped shape the Ichtegem of today. Let yourself be surprised by this unique bicycle theater performance in the open air written by Onno van Gelder Jr, directed by Alex Haerens, and brought by theater De Snuifdoos.
