Sound & Art Walk

On the occasion of our 100th anniversary, we bring music, art, craft, and conviviality together in the heart of Hakendover. From 1:30 PM, you can go on a discovery tour along various locations in the village center. At each place, artists bring short performances throughout the afternoon. You can follow a model route or map out a route yourself and listen to the artists who appeal to you the most. You will also get a premiere visit to the newly renovated storage cellar in the rectory garden. The route is wheelchair accessible. If you still have questions or specific needs, you can always contact us. For those who like to stretch their legs first, there is also a longer walking route through the fields. This trip of approximately 9 km departs beforehand (starting is possible from 11:30 AM) and connects at the end to the Sound and Art Walk in the village. In the center, we meanwhile provide a small but cozy regional and crafts market. You can look around at local makers, enjoy a snack and a drink, and children have also been thought of with customized animation. In the evening, we close the day festively with a concert by the Koninklijke Fanfare Sint-Isidorus Hakendover-Wulmersum.
