Week of Sustainability: sustainable heroes

Sustainable heroes and a visit from Herr Seele Tijdens de Week of the Duurzame Gemeente (September 18 to 25), local government Vosselaar traditionally puts its Duurzame Helden in the spotlight. This year we proudly nominate the participants of De Brug! De Brug is a unique collaboration project between Ligo Kempen and the OCMW of Vosselaar. The project brings people together, breaks social isolation and helps participants to grow into stronger, self-confident citizens. On Wednesday, September 23, we would like to invite you to the Reynaert hall to get to know the stories, dreams and talents of the students and they will welcome you personally with a snack and a drink! Humorous cartoonist Herr Seele will come by for a comic drawing workshop to extra highlight your dreams for a sustainable 2030! Afterwards, we will watch the beautiful, autobiographical film Minari together. This moving drama follows a South Korean migrant family chasing the American dream in the countryside of Arkansas de Amerikaanse Droom—a universal story about resilience, hope and putting down roots in a new environment.
