Conservatoire botanique national de Bailleul, Bailleul
€13
Well hidden in the greenery and located on the Belgian-French border between Dranouter and Belle (Bailleul) is the Conservatoire Botanique National, a scientific research center of the Franse Overheid. The botanical garden stretches over 25 ha with meadow, nature, and a garden with, among other things, medicinal plants. The center has the task of establishing a seed bank for Northern France and advises municipalities and services on their ecological green management. We walk through all the gardens and explore the objectives and cultivation programs of the center. The botanical garden has more than 800 wild plants. We explore the plants and their threats, but we especially enjoy the domain in a beautiful landscape.
