Praatcafé Jongdementie - Film screening “Eternal Memory” with post-screening discussion

The Praatcafé Jongdementie invites you to a special film screening of the documentary The Eternal Memory , followed by a discussion. The Eternal Memory (2023) is a moving and intimate documentary by director Maite Alberdi about the life of Augusto Góngora and his partner Paulina Urrutia. When Augusto is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, their relationship is under great pressure. The film shows in an honest and loving way what memory loss means for those who live with it and for those who care — about love, identity, and connection, even when memories fade. After the film, there is a discussion in a safe and open atmosphere. There is room to share experiences, ask questions, and talk to each other about young-onset dementia, both from a professional and personal perspective. Het Praatcafé is aimed at people with (young-onset) dementia, informal caregivers, family members, professionals, and anyone who feels involved. You are welcome to listen or to actively participate in the conversation.
