Film: A Chiara

Chiara is a 15-year-old girl growing up in a close-knit family in Southern Italy. After a mysterious event during her older sister’s birthday, her father suddenly disappears. Chiara notices that her family is hiding secrets about his involvement with the mafia. Determined to discover the truth, she investigates what is really going on herself. She faces a difficult choice: remain loyal to her family or find her own path in life. The main themes of the film are coming of age, family, mafia, and identity.
