Alter

Alter is a dialogue between a dancer and a drummer without drums. Together they fathom the different stages of clay – from dry and dusty to wet and slippery. Kneading and sculpting, they build up and break down landscapes. Cities, roads, mountains and rivers emerge for a moment only to flow away again. With their hands in the pure earth, they dig for answers: how do we live together in this world, what is our relationship with the earth and what traces do we leave behind?
