Les Rencontres Estivales: The two-wheeled cultural tour near you

Les Rencontres Estivales is a traveling artistic adventure, an appointment at a local resident's home, as close to you as possible. It is an invitation to meet and discover, a suspended moment in the heart of Walloon Brabant. During 8 days, at the beginning of summer, two artists travel by bike along the roads of Walloon Brabant, offering a show in the evening at a resident's home. At each stop, the performances are followed by a meeting between the artists, the hosts, and the public to share a moment together in a friendly atmosphere in a warm and intimate setting. The next morning, the artists and the team from the Cultural Center of Walloon Brabant leave for the next stop. Much more than a simple tour, this project is a true human adventure where each day becomes a moment of meetings and exchanges. The hosts open their doors to the artists and spectators, transforming a private space into a living stage where the boundary between these two worlds fades. Far from traditional cultural venues, these open-air performances make art accessible to everyone for an evening. This year, we offer you “Jitter” by the Keeping Company, a show mixing acrobatics and dance movements inspired by Lindy Hop.
