Especially for this project, Matthias and Andy wrote new compositions: intense, cinematic, and contemporary – music that balances between harmony and melancholy. Saturday, September 12, 2026 – 8:00 PM: Jef Neve & Leon Blekh Piano & Viool Twee musical masters bring a rare musical encounter. When pianist Jef Neve and violinist Leon Blekh find each other, an intense dialogue between piano and violin arises – refined, virtuoso, and deeply experienced. Driven by their shared love for chamber music, they breathe new life into the classical repertoire. Works by great masters like Beethoven and Strauss are not just performed, but re-experienced – with respect for the past and an open view of the present. Especially for this duo, Jef Neve composed a new sonata. A work in which romance, playfulness, and technical bravura flow together into a contemporary ode to a timeless genre.
