Get ready for a surprising evening, because Radio Guga is back! In the theater show ONDERSTEBOVEN (UPSIDE DOWN), the rules of a concert are turned upside down, because the audience decides. Choices are made on the spot, and you get something new served up. Suddenly changing genres, singing voices, or even musicians: anything is possible. You could just choose ‘Poesje Stoei’ by Urbanus, in a tango version, sung as a duet between William Boeva and Willy Naessens. Every evening is unique. The band led by Guga Baul remains, of course, what it has always been: the dream version of a cover band, with a top singer who also knows how to imitate the voice perfectly. Add a portion of Guga humor on top of that, and your evening cannot fail. In short: it is the perfect show for music fans who love adventure. Over Guga Baul: Radio Guga is finally returning to the theaters. “Finally”, because it has been very busy for Guga Baul in recent years. Besides being a singer, he is also a musician, impersonator, actor, theater maker... and that resulted in a fascinating period. For example, he wrote a self-written record for the first time with his band, under the name ‘Studio Guga’. This featured 16 songs from the pen of Guga Baul, and masterfully performed by his companions in the style of his favorite artists. Guga also toured Flanders with his artistic brother Jonas Van Thielen with their tribute to Urbanus ‘Badje vol met Stroop’, with which he also visited CC de Meent. In addition to a regular tour, they also made an XXL version for venues such as Kursaal Oostende (2x), Trixxo Arena (3x), Concertgebouw Brugge, Stadsschouwburg Antwerpen (2x), and Capitole Gent (4x). Oh yes, in the meantime he has also become De Slimste Mens Ter Wereld in the television program of the same name. But now he is returning to that old love with his good mates: Radio Guga.
