Because in this world, one law prevails: boundless imagination! On the program? An elegant fusion of Puccini’s La Bohème with Aznavour’s timeless chanson. Bizet’s fiery Carmen shines in a brand-new fantasy, and surprising works by Meyerbeer, Krähmer, and Viardot reveal their rarely heard splendor. In between, Roma melodies, original compositions by ensemble members, and new works by, among others, Elena Kats-Chernin and Sebastian Bartmann are woven.
