In the morning, a visit to the saffron farm in Herentals and in the afternoon to the Kempen Diamond Center in Nijlen. What can you expect? We visit Linda and Marc's saffron farm in Herentals and learn more about the cultivation and use of saffron. After the field visit, we get 1 sample of their alcoholic drinks, 1 savory and 1 sweet homemade saffron snack. Bij de Breugelhoeve in Nijlen, we are expected for a lunch menu. In the summer, this is a main course and a dessert with 1 coffee or 1 tea or 1 soft drink included. We visit the Kempisch Diamantcentrum in Nijlen and discover the history of diamond processing; we see authentic grinding tools and listen to the stories of the grinders. A grinding demonstration is included.
