Party on the Square with BelpopBand and Soulbrothers

Feest op het Plein (Party on the Square) is the summer evening where music, togetherness, and a cozy atmosphere come together on the village square. For four Thursdays, the square transforms into a bustling open-air stage full of great live performances and dancing feet. Free access for everyone! On Thursday, July 2, BelpopBand kicks off the party by breathing new life into the biggest Belgian hits of then and now. With a passion for home-grown music, five professional musicians pay tribute to icons such as Clouseau, Gorki, Machiavel, Noordkaap, Soulsister, The Radios, STROMAE, Scooter, Arno, and many others. After that, the Soulbrothers continue the party. They bring soul, funk, and party music with a solid live band and three familiar voices at the front: Charel Van Domburg, Vincent Goeminne and Wim Soutaer. Together they provide a solid mix of sing-alongs and danceable hits. Line-up 8 PM - 9:30 PM: BelpopBand - Enjoy an ode to Belgian music history, sing along at the top of your lungs, and turn the square upside down together with BelpopBand! 10 PM - 11:30 PM: Soulbrothers - Expect lots of energy, humor, confetti, and above all: songs that you sing along to without thinking.
